In April 2022, the environmental group of 20 students from the 6th General Senior High School of Larissa arrived in Athens for an educational trip with the aim of creating an environmental film. Smiling Sketches, with an appropriate teaching scenario, introduced the students to the basic principles of visual and audiovisual literacy and cinema, guiding them to write scripts and choose the one that inspired them the most. Within three hours, they decided to use an allegorical script that connected the endemic plants of Attica with precious diversity. The next day, the group visited a film studio and experientially learned about all stages of film processing and production. Before three more hours had passed, they headed to the Field of Ares, where the entire team organized and filmed an entire movie, and then returned to Larissa with the result of the film workshop, which the students edited into a short film.
