Catherina Siabou was born in 1973 and grew up in Tripoli. She studied Economics and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

For the past 20 years, she has been working with the municipal administration in Local Development Planning. Her personal interest lies in cultural management. In 1992, she was awarded the 3rd Piraeus Association prize for her short story “3rd World War” by Tassos Athanasiadis and Alkyoni Papadaki.

Since 1993, she has been a volunteer at the Greek Red Cross. Catherina has also attended several seminars organized by the Greek Screenwriters Association. She is skilled in writing scripts and producing short films.

In 2019, her short film “One Town, a Football Team” won the audience award at the Arcadian Screenings Festival. Currently, she is participating in the development of Aggelos Kovotsos’ film “In America as I was going”.
